The "arm inside/outside the knee" tip was really cool, on that move the difference was massive.

I wonder why a lot of the V grades in the US gyms are so far off compared to the climbing gyms I regularly go to in the Netherlands. Visited the “biggest” boulder gym in the US in Austin and a lot of the V6 grades there were similar to V3/4s over here. Similarly the first V5 in the vid wouldn’t be more than a V3/4 over here. Before I went climbing there I just thought it was a case of “looking easier on video”.

The knee inside vs outside is so subtle, I would never have noticed that difference if he hadn’t pointed it out

I think you messed up the sponsor by having such a cool jumper to start with. It was supposed to look bad but you went out the other side and went back to cool. Trousers were awful though 😂

I just got my first v8/9 a few months ago- it was raw confidence and piecing it together, just pure projecting. You can pretty much do anything if you believe you can and work to get each piece. Love this coaching and mindset!
